Name a more iconic contemporary artist than Yayoi Kusama: we’ll wait.

Now in her ninth decade, the Japanese provocateur has blessed the world with her signature polka dots for over half a century and continues to produce extraordinary work that has made her a household name.

Yayoi Kusama works in a variety of media, creating fantastical installations, sculptures, paintings, and more using patterns of polka dots and nets as motifs.
