As you might have already heard, the Getty Center is now open again, offering a host of both contemporary and historical shows. Check out our roundup of exhibitions to see this month all around Los Angeles.
Also, I talk with artist Carmina Escobar about her new art production company with the excellent name “Boss Witch.” There’ll be a virtual launch party tomorrow, where you’ll get a preview of their nature-driven performance art.
Last week, we shared an article about the history of Old Chinatown. This week, read up on the beginnings of New Chinatown, built in the 1930s and the neighborhood we know today.
