This week, the COVID-19 death toll in the United States surpassed 250,000, and museums across the United States are starting to shut down again due to the nationwide surge in cases.
The Smithsonian announced that it will temporarily close all of its museums in DC, including the National Zoo, starting November 23. In Minneapolis, several museums, including the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Walker Art Center, will close their doors this weekend.
